Merrion Square, in Dublin Ireland is surrounded by stately homes.
And Yeats lived here for a while.
I do love these lines from Yeats’ poem “The Second Coming,”
which I can almost make sense of.
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold
My favorite Yeats poem. “Slouches towards Bethlehem….”
